There are also quite a few outside of Shing Jea and there is the cave out there too that has quite a few in it.

Two short romps outside the Monastery for pincers and, on the way to Nicholas himself, a black dye drop. The pressies had ho-hum stuff but overall I'm quite pleased.

I just went up and down the trail until I got enough pincers. Took 4 runs with my Rit for the full 25. Got a white dye as well, so happy with that. I love weeks where the farming build is whatever you feel like.

I've found the wood outside Ran Musu to be the best place. I alternated bewteen that and Shaoshang Trail and had around 10 per run in the former and around 3 in the latter (uh how did others get so much more per run there?).
Nick's gifts were the crappiest stuff I've ever had but at least I had a few dyes (no blacks and withes though :P) and an amber chunk, so happy anyway.

Huh, I found between 5 and 8 per run in Shaoshang per 3 minute (ish) run... however, I farmed it on 2 accounts, so 1 waited out the 2 minute start delay to increase drops while the other farmed.

since when does nick have a limit on presents?
it's never mentioned on the wiki, but i still got 15 mantid pincers in my backpack yet he does not want to exchange any gifts anymore after giving me 5 gifts.

and it's even account wide... took the 15 pincers with another character, he won't give her anything, not even her first gift :'(

I remember when Nick first started - red iris flowers if I remember correctly. I thought - Aha! Went to Eye of the North and spent a very very dull hour farming (harvesting) them from Gwen's garden. Took about a stack of them to Nick and he gave me 5 presents! Unimpressed.
